RED DOT AWARD FOR PRODUCT DESIGN, CLICK VINYL
Every year, the Red Dot Award for Product Design is awarded to the year’s best products. Whether aesthetically appealing, functional, smart or innovative, what the award-winning objects have in common is their outstanding design quality. Winners are selected by the “Red Dot Jury”, a panel of some 40 international experts who test, discuss and evaluate each entry individually and on site. The submissions are not compared with each other, but are assessed individually based on various judging criteria which are constantly adapted to new technical, social, economic and ecological requirements. The criteria provides a framework for judging which is complemented by each juror according to his or her expertise and socio-cultural background. Amongst others, judging criteria includes: degree of innovation, functionality, formal quality, ergonomics, durability, symbolic & emotional content, and ecological compatibility. The Red Dot distinction is internationally established as one of the most sought-after awards of quality and design.

About LayRed55 EIR
So, what makes this floor so innovative? LayRed55 is the softest, hard plank on the market. Our collection includes 18 beautiful wood decors that we stock in our warehouses and four additional decors available on a special-order basis from the mill. Each design is waterproof and extremely scratch and stain resistant. The core prevents a telegraphing effect, which means that LayRed55 EIR does not require any levelling work and can even equalize cracks, joints and evenness in the subfloor. With a layer dedicated to sound absorption, both the sound of footsteps and transmission sound is dampened by up to 22dB. Made in a eco-friendly production facility in Belgium, LayRed55 EIR is completely free of phthalates, consists of 30% recycled materials and is itself, completely recyclable. The stunning appearance of the LayRed55 EIR collection is due in part to its Embossed-in-Register technology which brings unparalleled realism to wood grain patterns, mimicked from nature, large cylinders are used to minimize pattern repeats and an enhanced V-groove on four sides results in an even more true-to-nature look.
