Large windows offer the beauty of abundant natural light. On the downside though, the interior is subject to temperature fluctuations. Summer homes and northern climates also experience fluctuations in temperature yet LayRed® can handle these changes with ease – thanks to the unique production process, the product has no orientation and the glass fibre reinforcement stabilizes the core – the floor remains dimensionally stable in all temperature conditions and experiences no change in form due to warmth and cold.
Scratch and stain resistant…
Engineered to provide superior scratch and stain resistance, LayRed® is treated with Protectonite PUR to protect the floor from normal household scratches and dirt penetration. The premium, LayRed® 55 EIR is treated with Twinguard®, a best in class protective layer that ensures the design remains in perfect condition.
Water resistant…
One great advantage of a vinyl floor is that it is water resistant. With LayRed® there is no need to worry about spills and splashes and it is much easier to maintain, making it suitable for every space from living areas to kitchens, from bedrooms to bathrooms.

The premium LayRed55 EIR combines all of the features of LayRed® 40 and more. Engineered for high-traffic conditions such as those found in retail stores, student housing, apartment buildings and hotels, this is a floor that’s up to any challenge: its acoustic layer and integrated underlay reduces walking and transmission sound, the Twinguard® PU safeguards against scratches and stains and its rigidity allows a super fast and flawless installation – even on uneven surfaces – making it perfect for refurbishments and new buildings.
The stunning appearance of the LayRed55 EIR collection is due in part to its Embossed-in-Register technology which brings unparalleled realism to wood grain patterns, mimicked from nature, large cylinders are used to minimize pattern repeats and an enhanced V-groove on four sides results in an even more true-to-nature look. Containing 30% recycled content and no ortho-phthalate, LayRed 55 also delivers on IVC’s commitment to sustainable flooring.
